How many hours a day do you work?

longer hours now with the age of the smartphone and tablets as i integrated my emails and support ticket system into my smartphone and tablet so clients can contact me anywhere anytime
 
I've had 15 or 16 hour days but I've cut down to 12 at the most between my two businesses. Mostly because the company is new and I'm not really required to work. I just find things to do in order to improve the site and services. I don't put in that many hours every day because I like having a life also. In the spring you'll find me in a tent in the mountains by end of March or beginning of April on the weekends. In the summer you'll find me out on the water all day in a kayak fishing.
 
Definitely different now with the smartphone. Just about impossible to really get away from work, can be unnerving at times. Probably 10-12 now with the phone following me... following me... make it stop!!!

Thats too true, i hate switching mine on in the morning. with having all my emails linked on my phone it will peep constantly for about 20 mins.

I use my tablet as when i am out and about with my other businesses and a hosting client needs help i can still give some support
 
I'm working the hole day except sleeping (8 hours) and driving a car (about 2 hour per day). So i'm working about 14 hour per day.
 
My regular working day is 8 hours, but it depends of the amount of task which should be done. If it happens that there are some critical urgent task, then I have to stay on at work to get everything done.
 
My hat really goes out to you guys for such long days. Hope one day you see the success where you are able to hire people cutting down your working hours :o.
 
Depending on the situation (servers status, number of support tickets to be reviewed that all were resolved successfully by our team etc.) I may work between 8 and 12 hours a day. :)
 
Me and a couple others stay busy around the clock periodically it seems. I guess we feel we need to be hands on with a lot of things. I have my free time however, but got to keep those customers happy :)
 
well, that's a grey area :)

I get paid for doing 8hours/day work but then there are other personal projects that I consider as work now, if I wouldn't consider it work I would probably end up prioritizing other things.

Then there's family, which is another type of "work".
So I started to count the amount of hours I sleep instead, which is somewhere around 5-6 hours / night.

Every other 3 weeks or so I let myself sleep for 8 hours, to get the rhythm back.
 
About 13 hours, a little less on the weekends because I tend to sleep longer. This involves several different projects.
