Thats kinda true
I do love my job, more so since back in the hosting and marketing business and not just game servers so yes it makes the 80-130 hour weeks alot more bearable I guess lol.
Have had a bout of bad health this year whihc has made it alot harder so if I didn;t love what I am doing would probably not have been able to put in the hours.
New businesses require alot of dedication but in time the hours decrease and the income decreases after have established a good reputation in the field.
When I started doing game servers about 5 years ago worked no less then 90 hour weeks just for a single game and now havent touched an editor in a couple months and the counts grow and money comes in so it defintely comes easier in any field once establish a good rep.
I owned a CB repair and sales retail shop for about 7 years was also the case, first 4 years were long and hard but the last few I did it made best money of my life and worked less.
Hardest part is always finding people to work for you you can trust with what you worked so hard on, isnt too bad in hosting business but when comes to the gaming side of my business I have taken major income hits because people trusted sabotaged everything.
Now after many years of doing that particular thing I have about 6 people all with their own skillsets who Id trust with my life, just took 50 bad apples to find 6 good ones unfortunately.
