How many hours a day do you work?

I only work 8 hours Monday - Friday At least at my normal job... extra projects and stuff keep me busy another 2-5 hrs each day!

I'll work 14hrs a day, I'm a technical support person and so do my client require me everytime they hit some problem. It's a tiring job honestly. Keep looking at computer tires my eyes. Don't understand how anybody can be productive and focused during 10-14hrs workday. You will eventually start making errors and will then work even more to solve things that should happen in first place. 2-3 hrs of focused work and then at least 1h off times two should do the trick...

well as a standard working day in most industries is 8 to 12 hrs shifts then a 10-14 hr day is not uncommon.

in the hosting industry when you offer 24/7 support then 2-3 hr will not work.
i.e. you have a client who contact you with a complicated issue, so once you reach 3 hrs you tell your client 'sorry i have done 3 hrs come back later and i will continue'

It totally depends on work. Since we belong to internet related work normally termed as "online", there is no specific work time or hours to be dedicated. It fluctuates very frequently.
