methods of payment

Since 2006 we are using it, no complaints whatsoever, What kinds of complains if i may ask?

Closing of accounts mainly with *very* low dispute / charge-back percentage (I've seen a couple claiming they've only had 1 chargeback since x years and because of that 1 they closed their accounts).

If it works for you, great. It does perfectly fine for many people though be sure to offer alternative options in case your account gets closed someday.

Thanks for the good tip will keep that in mind.

Paypal is quite secure I have to say. Reduces the chances of fraud massively and I think that's why even customers feel happy to put their money in it. They know their account is being monitored. :)

Recently, we started using PerfectMoney as well. This is also a very good payment method and has a low fee rate. So customers do feel happy to use it.

I assume you pay the fees when receiving the funds right (PerfectMoney)? So why would your customers be happy to use it if you get low fees?

Most don't really know the fees one will pay and just see the price they pay choosing the gateway they mostly use / prefer.

You are forgetting the other side of the story my friend. :D

They are also receiving money from somewhere else to pay us. So when they receive money in their account, they are not charged high fees as well. So that encourages them to deal in this currency!

That would depend on the gateway being used and how their account is being topped up, and of course how the payment was sent.

If topping up your account via PayPal for example $50, you would get that full $50 in PayPal balance. If someone pays them as gift $50, they would get the full $50, for example.

Then again that is also a separate issue, the majority would look at your price, what they have available and choose which ever gateway is best for them, regardless of the fees you loose, not them.

I am talking about PerfectMoney in this particular case though.

We use Paypal only and have been for 7 years. We tried 2CO but we had allot of issues with them

If a customer can not pay with Paypal, we can not accept them.

I will vote for Skrill and Paypal. It depends on location of merchant, lower fees while withdraw and other reasons, makes it favorite.

Paypal is the only way i pay normally as it seems the only way as most sites don't accept any other sources of payment apart from card which is hassle and can be unsafe normally.

What is the best and most secure methods of payment?
Not sure if it is the best but certainly the most secure currency is Bitcoin. We've been accepting Bitcoin for a while but very few transactions to date, hopefully its popularity will keep growing for many, many reasons. Skrill is a good payment gateway too, it seems to get some bad reviews in hosting forums but our experience with Skrill is all positive.
