Had Anybody used pure chat? Came across it in a google search. It's a hosted service without any limitation on chats or agents? It however has only a web interface.

As far as free is concerned they looks really good.

100TB is a UK2 Brand I believe, they have WebsiteAlive deployed across all of the UK2 Brands so it must be working out very nice for them.

We'll be sticking with Kayako though - very powerful and feature rich software .

Is there even a such thing? I've come across so many live chat software programs that honestly, I'm just overwhelmed at this point. Are paid live chat software programs better than the free ones?

We use the default WHMCS live chat, clients don't mind it.

I use Bold Chat. The free version (only because I hardly have chat communications) works great for me. If I had more issues, I am certain I would just switch it to the paid version.

Zopim seems to be very good, has many features and is affordable and reasonably priced. they have a free version as well, so why not give that a try?

Kayako is one of the best. We have been using it for a while now and I can't complain. Its a great product. It will cost you; however, prior to this we used Livezilla which also worked good for us, but we wanted a all in one deal to connect support, sales and live chat.

I totally agree! Kayako is one of the best. It's reliable and you can do with it everything you need. It's not cheap but it's worth at least to give it a try.
