What Forum software do you prefer?

Can't match the same theory. I believe for gaming clients vBulletin 3 is most popular.

Now that I have used vbulletin for several months now. I do like it but still like ipb. They both have their pros and cons. Which for me make them equal for my needs.
I have used smf and mybb. I didn't like mybb although I forgot why. Smf is good and out of all the forum scripts I have used it uses the least amount of resources on the server based on my experience with it.

I would go for Vbulletin If I need something extremely flexible and worth the price for a low cost id go with smf, phpbb or mybb

I would go with XENFORO, It is not listed there but it is robust and frequently updated and supported.

From that list I would choose Vbulletin But not the current version probably vb 4.x.x
