What Do You Use? FTP or File Manager?

If I am moving a lot of files I prefer Filezilla or gftp for an ftp client. If I am uploading or downloading just a couple of files with cPanel or DirectAdmin I will use the built in file manager.

There are several popular FTP clients. All have different features. We have compiled a small list of good free and payware FTP clients below.
* Filezilla (Free)
* Smart FTP (Free)
* Ipswitch FTP (Paid)
* Cyberduck (For Mac OS - Free)

Hi.

I myself always use windows built-in FTP client which allows you to simply copy & paste files into your FTP account. I think much easier than FileZilla.

File manager.

why ? Because I only have to remember one single password.
I just login into the Cpanel, HyperVm, etc etc and start working.

^^You can use the same cPanel password for FTP though...

And i much prefer to use an FTP client, i either use Filezilla or FlashFXP (It ROCKS).

i use self installed net2ftp more since i can edit files easily with it.
much more convenient than the cpanel file manager.
