Softaculous gets my vote, it has a lot of scripts and an excellent interface.

We have Softaculous for our hosted customers along with the standard Fantastico Deluxe, and have to say that Softaculous is much better. It has many more scripts, which are updated more often, and customers seem to prefer it over Fantastico. Regarding Installatron, we have never used it before, but also seems good.

I have both options and I personally experienced helpful. Perhaps the fact that Fantastico is free makes it more appealing to most of clients. Browsing in to Softaculous I found lots of functional tools, it is time consuming browsing around but it is absolutely awesome.

I'm most familiar with Fantastico De Luxe, it all depends on preference. I really enjoy it none the less.

I actually have all three(fantastico De Luxe, Softaculous, and Installatron).

why? its just a waste of money and resources as the scripts available in fantastico De Luxe and Installatron are available in Softaculous+ 100 more

I have to agree, Softaculous seems to have something new in the changelog every day when I get the update report. Though I dont working experience with Installatron.

I guess the bigger issue is people upgrading their installations to avoid a exploit =\
