Hello,

We use a combination when we are in the office we use something called Intermapper which monitors in realtime, we then use Cacti for graphing historic data for collection and analysis.

for our network infrastructure we use Solarwinds

I know there is a demand for "free" services, but I use commercial services because my customers respond to "independent third-party monitoring."

For uptime I use NodePing and Uptime Doctor as a backup. (Uptime Doctor gave me a free account for evaluation.)

Had a bad false positive problem with NodePing for a few weeks. Seems to have cleared up, though, so I'll continue using them as long as they're reliable.

For health trends I use Monitis. And for a really good health snapshot, I like CloudStats.me.

CloudStats has some really interesting features. I can get an overview of every server showing CPU, load and MEM on a single page with a 3 minute refresh. Beats opening a bunch of SSH sessions running 'top.'

Obviously WHMCS; an inbuilt feature of server monitoring tool for Hosting Provider and also High % Market share of Hosting Industry is using this Billing & Client Management Portal.
For more features, also can use cloudstats dot me.
