We offer PayPal and credit card processing through PayPal. However, if someone asks to pay by money order, bank transfer, check, or cash we certainly don't deny them. Checking fees with the bank are usually lower than PayPal's fees anyway.

Do you find that more options have helped get more sales?

Definitely. There's tons of options to pay with and if you accept most of them you're opening yourself to a lot potential business that other companies lose by not accepting that payment type.

I just give the option of Paypal as you can still pay even if you do not have an account and you can use your credit card via paypal.

That's true. Users who are aware about security on the net would prefer to pay through PayPal than submit their credit card details to a company they aren't familiar to and don't completely trust.

The usual, cheques, Credit cards, Visa/Master & Paypal for a few esteemed customers we also offer Bank transfer option.

Hi,

I think more than 90% of the clients are now or want to use Paypal, and for others, just offer a credit card option for country that still don't have paypal. These 2 options will be good enough.

Regards,
Bobby

PayPal has it's... quirks though, although we support it.

We use PayPal and Authorize.Net for a 3rd party CC Gateway. Debating on Western Union, but I suppose it's a possibility.

We offer 3 different methods. Though PayPal is the most convenient, other regions of the world use different methods. We started offering 2Checkout not so long ago, and it has done well.

It is good to have more than just Paypal. You should also have a merchant account + gateway (authorize.net, quantum, bluepay)

Just curious what others do in this regard.

Currently we offer 2 kind of payment method, paypal and credit card but sometimes some of our clients would like to use wire or bank transfer, so for some reason we would be gladly provide our bank account just to make sure that client needs are fulfilled properly

customer is always a KING:thumbup:

The more options you use to receive payments the more clients you will get as there will be clients from around the world and for each part in the world a certain methode is popular.

How many payment types do you offer and what are they?

We offer all credit card payments through our 2 WHMCS Payment Gateway Modules (MeS for all US transactions, Beanstream for Canada) Google Checkout, Paypal, US Bank Drawn Checks and Money Orders.

Do you find that more options have helped get more sales?

Yes, not all people have access to credit cards or debit cards but most have a bank account so they can use Google Checkout or Paypal. We have had many senior folks that still prefer personal checks and some even like money orders, but very few!
