How many payment types do you offer and what are they?

Do you find that more options have helped get more sales?

Just curious what others do in this regard.

I've been using PayPal. There are a lot of other options, but PayPal is the most convenient for me.

I preferr PayPal, but have tried AlertPay and Moneybookers also. It definately helps to increase sales the more payment solutions you provide your clients with. The people that will not use PayPal, will probably use AlertPay and vise versa.

Accepting credit cards directly from your website will also increase your sales, as most people want to actually give you their credit card info to pay.

I use PayPal and Google Checkout for online. I also accept Checks and Money Orders.

I found most people pay via PayPal.

We are using 2Checkout and to be honest we prefer 2checkout, but we also have Alertpay, PayPal and Banktransfer. 2Checkout and Alertpay are great because they pay directly to our credit card. also there are less chargebacks at 2CO than on other payment gateways.

I can say we don't take American Express. Used to, but they are not open to discussion on disputes.

I offer paypal only for right now cause its very convenient. I have considered and will continue to think about getting more payment options. But currently paypal is the easiest. The next thing I might get is google checkout.

We use basic credit card processing as well as Paypal. It seems that between these two, we target our market just fine.

I just give the option of Paypal as you can still pay even if you do not have an account and you can use your credit card via paypal.

We take Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Echecks, paper checks, and PayPal.

I hate them all.

Ok, I'm kidding. Mostly.

Of course it does. There are many countries whom paypal don't support though some other like 2CO/Moneybookers does. Its always a better way to have an or multiple alternatives.

Only use paypal. Clients can pay using paypal or they can use cc during the checkout process with paypal. It works well for us.

paypal is the best cuz so many users use it. Credit card, alertpay, liberty reserve all are great. But most average people use paypal because of ebay and other shopping sites.

We only use PayPal. It works excellent since just about everyone has PayPal. And even if you don't, you can still use it to accept credit cards or e-check.

We take : Credit and Debit Cards , Local Bank Transfers,Electronic Checks / ACH, Wire Transfers,PayPal, Real Time Bank Transfers, Fax Orders,Direct Debit, Phone Orders,Mail Orders ..
It supposed that will increase sales .. I think at that market you don't want to loose any client that can't pay via your method
