The best way to know if a hosting provider is trust worthy is to do research. The majority of people who buy hosting don't research the host they go with. Ask people on forums for their opinions, search for reviews on google and on forums. You gotta do your research. A lot of kiddie hosts and those wanting to scam you do a pretty good job at making them selves look professional and like they've been around for a long time. But if you research them you will see the truth.
