For domain registration, go with godaddy or enom.

If you consider hosting

Can you tell me your experiences with those two companies regarding reselling packages? I was advised to engage with either of them, since they are both good. But because I'm completely new to all this, those two are the same for me. Can you shed more light on that?

Godaddy is a legend as a Domain registrar. If you consider hosting, Godaddy and Hostgator, both are reliable and with highest uptime. But GoDaddy use customized panel for hosting where HostGator use most popular cPanel. I think cPanel is more preferable than GoDaddy Panel.
