difference between free and paid hosting?

Free hosting provider won't care about you, If you are having a problem they won't bear to listen you :).

unless you pay for their support time.

i recently saw 1 free webhost that charged $25 each time you needed support (this was per incident) so if it took 30 tickets to fix then this would just be $25 and if it took 1 ticket then it would be $25. this is how they make their money

haha.. Means they will charge you for hosting in shape of Support Tickets :P :shh:

But why to go for free hosts with paid support if there are many hosts which provides cheap and affordable webhosting packages with excellent free support. You just need to google for it and read their reviews before you host your site.

The hosting industry can't say it enough. If you are serious about having your website up and running smoothly, if you are serious about having support at all times and if you are committed to finding a reliable and long term hosting provider than skip the free. It will only most likely cost you time and money in the long run.

In the free website hosting, the customers or user has the permit to upload his or her contents of the web site on the server space that has been provided by the web hosting company for no cost..

In Paid hosting, you need to pay a periodic fees, say monthly or yearly to upload your website and its contents on the web space provided by a paid website hosting company.

Paid hosting will offer you security and a lot more features, free hosting does not necessarily guarantee anything, because you may not be entitled to anything.
