difference between free and paid hosting?

Hello,
Website owners are often faced with a difficult decision right from the beginning of their online venture. This decision is to choose a web hosting service for their website. Not only are there hundreds of web hosting companies offer their services at affordable prices, but there are also some that offer free hosting to their customers. Here we look in detail at the major differences between having a free hosting service versus a paid hosting service and the impact it can have on your website.

Free web hosting means, here you get free web space on their hosting server to create and host your web site for free. It has several advantages, but mainly that it costs nothing (no money and no credit cards needed).Where paid web hosting means, A company receives the revenue through the fees that are paid to companies by website owners.

Simple, fair and square and fast answer.

Free Hosting - might be good BUT for a limited time (resources MUST end), but it is usually bad from tons of advertisements and no truly safe and constant resources and features that provider can offer you. He can do everything to you and for any reason or even no reason at all. You can not be sure if you will not be banned tommorow just because he wanted add someone else or just missclicked you. ( no big deal for free hositng providers) It causes more troubles for client than profits. Waste of time and nerves.
Few $ per month for holy piece and constant, certain service features with true support and tools useful for client is better choice, isn't it?
And that better choice leads us to paid hosting providers.

There is nothing free in this world. Everywhere you must pay, and if it is not money it'll be space, powers, bandwidth, security etc. Think about it

Free doesn't always mean "free" does it?

Look at anything that is offered free in the internet. Free email services are not secure and reliable. Social networking sites who claim that they are free are facing loads of privacy issues.

What I am trying to say is, your hosting provider somehow needs to get money (he is not running a charity). So, for that purpose, you can choose to pay yourself or you can choose the provider to earn money by using you.

In the end, I would say that for data security, support and quality, do please go for paid hosting. Since web hosting is a saturated industry, now-a-days we are finding quality hosting for even $1 per month.

Free hosting might be good for kids who are on Internet. However, if it is a Business site or a Blog, you should never opt for such Free Hosting. The servers are mostly down.

I recommend you to go with paid hosting because free hosting provides you with only limited features, options, services and support whereas paid hosting provides with instant support and services. Also you get unlimited disk-space and can get your own Domain name with paid hosting.

Might as well go with a free plan if you are thinking of going with unlimited disk space.
Free actually exists. Unlimited is a lie.

It is very difficult to find a better free hosting service providers offer the highest possible and that basic services are considered in general for beginners or those who experience their first sites whereas when you purchase a hosting account guarantees some basic truths, such as stability and control over your files but

Free web hosting is not preferable for serious needs.Does not provide same speed, privacy, connectivity. The difference between two depends on your needs.

If a hosting-company is young, developing and needs advertising, it can propose free hosting too. It will give a free hosting to interesting projects with a good traffic in exchange for a "hosted by" link or banner. The quality of service no different from as paid hosting in this company.
It depends of company.

There are some seemingly reliable free hosts out there. The thing to remember though, is that the better ones have a business plan. Let me explain...

Some of the better free hosts will plaster ads everywhere they can. If this does not bother you, fine. It will, however, bother your visitors.

Others offer free hosting without ads, hoping they can convert you to paid hosting in the future. They way they do this is by disabling/limiting some features, putting you on a slower server, etc. Then they can offer you a "better" pais upgrade when you start to notice.

Free hosting is not suited for any type of serious site, or even a semi serious business. You'll end up regretting it in the end, even if you upgrade after many visitors are already annoyed with your site.

What is difference. Certainly uptime and the support is better on paid hosting. On the paid hosting you also have some installation scripts as fantastico, or something like that. On free... I do not think that they will provide you software like that.

Also the free hostings have bigger limitation.

This has been one of the hottest topics in the Web Hosting industry. "Free" is never free. You are always worried about the Uptime and the Free Hosting provider may go off without letting you host your data and may miss use your data or databases.

Free hosting has horrible uptime as apposed to Paid hosting.

Ah, the good old argument. As for uptime, I have seen free web hosting providers providing spectacular service and uptime and I have seen paid providers failing miserably. :)

Yes, if you want at least to expect a reliable service, a paid hosting provider outweighs the free one any day, but this cannot be said indefinitely for all of them.
