It seems like it's official

WHT supports child molesters.


Sad but true.
There was a thread on WHT in which an admitted child molester tried to apoloigze to a member for his acts, and every time I and others tried to expand on the issue the threads got deleted.

SWR, SoftwareReview it seems was the one who did the deleting and the one who suspended my account at WHT for speaking the truth.

This is not the first time that SWR has done this. He is on the payroll at WHT and will censor any negative thread that he doesn't agree with.

Gen-T, a member and moderator of WHT admitted to desiring to molest and RAPE a child but for some reason he is being protected by WHT.

It is a sad and sick matter but because WHT makes so much money from advertising they choose to censor it and BAN long standing members who question their censorship.

I had no idea about Gen-T. Sheesh.

I know that this may not be the place to elaborate, but I'd like to hear more about his admittance.

In any case, I have had my own opinions of SWR, especially after he stooped to siding with a client that attempted to slander our name, on false facts.

I know SWR has had a long history of being a.....well, I'll leave it at that. He's on a power trip, and needs knocked down quite a few pegs, as well as some air let out (between the ears).

I personally feel that they are turning into another dictator style forum. Of course, I always said, that only bad things can happen from iNet taking over. Robert Marsh would have never allowed things like this to happen IMO.

I still can't get over Gen-T. I'd certainly like to hear more about it.

Like I said, I know this probably isn't the best place to discuss Gen-T's actions, but at least it's somewhere, that SWR has no authority.
 
Trust me on this one.
Gen-T is the worst sort of scum.

The things he has threatened are beyond description. SWR is an accomplace as far as I'm concerned because he protects people like this.
 
I have never liked WHT, never. They have supposovely "banned" me itleast 5 times. The rules are so strict it actually made me laugh. Basically, if you post, your banned. I never liked WHT!
 
I like WHT. It's a great resource.
It's just unfortunate that at least one MOD can make it so people like this admitted child molester can continue to post.

Perhaps the new ownership will appreciate real members again and start to question the heavy handed MOD techniques by ONE wht mod.
 
Oh I don't doubt you. I trust the people I am involved with here at HD.

I did some searching, and only found that he threatened a member's 11 year old daughter. Any idea who's daughter that was?

Gen-T always used to back me up on WHT, when customers would become too impatient (about a year ago). Maybe he thought I was 10 *crawls up to shower...fills tub with bleach, and jumps in, hoping to clean the dirty feeling I have now lol)

I know who the member is but I won't say it here for privacy reasons.

Suffice it to say that this Gen-T is a scumbag who is being protected by the WHT gliterati for reasons unknown.

He was suspended in the past by WHT for these very same reasons. Threatening members, and sending disgusting and threatening emails, but for some reason his account was re-instated.
He must be a friend of SWR.

It doesn't matter. This is unacceptable. WHT is a joke as long as they support this kind of behavior. I think it would be appropriate to spread the word.
 
I bet if you paid iNet for an ad spot they would allow you to spread the word that way ;) You know....money is money heh.

In any case, I agree. Privacy is important in this regard especially. I'm just very inquisitive.

Damn, I just can't get over Gen-T's actions. I would have never thought he would do something like that, from what I knew of him. Still in shock. I guess I should visit WHT more often to keep up to date on these things.

Spreading the word is definately a good idea none-the-less. As a father, I promise that if it were one of my children, I would have made CNN headlines within 48 hours after his statement for flying to his town, walking in his house and doing away with him.

He may seem like a good guy in some posts but his actions off forum are despicable.

WHT can kiss my big round ass as long as they support this kind of person. I wouldn't want any association with a forum that supports him.

I agree totally. I personally feel that being associated with people that defend someone like that, makes it appear as though I'm fine with it as well. I simply can't put myself in that position.

I feel that both Gen-T and SWR need to go. Gen-T for obvious reasons, and SWR because he's crooked. I have absolutely no respect for either of them. Especially Gen-T now.

It's not hard to put on a different face when you're online these days.

I've read your account and I must say that I don't have any reason to doubt you. I know the kind of person you are and though we've disagreed in many issues, we still see eye to eye in many others.

My opinion of WHT has gradually been lowered since iNet acquired the place. I can deal with forum mismanagement and greed. I cannot deal with this - period. I've had my share of disagreements and arguments with certain powerful members (while many others are wonderful people) and I'm very dissappointed by this perverted individual and even more so in those who allow him to continue on. I hope you can come up with the screenshots to indisputably prove it for everyone.
 
When WHT started allowing Unmetered Space/Bandwidth advertisements and posts...and when I made a company, who was offering unlimited/unmetered space, admit that they were flat out lying (only to get the post deleted)... and when asked why WHT supports unlimited/unmetered ads and posts...only to get it deleted again...that's when I decided that a forum such as WHT was not good enough to make posts about (Only to advertise in their advertisement area hehehe).

Blue was also there when we were bashing that company (bitesite or whatever it was) a month ago.


BTW is HD the second largest Hosting Forum now? Been comparing WHT,HD,and HHO and it seems HD is now the SECOND largest in users online and members posting :D.

I had much the same experience. One of the "junior" mods gave me a vague reply as to why they accepted those unmetered ads but didn't allow them to be advertised in the forum (we all know it's because of money here). Not one of the iNet nor more senior mods replied. The place is becoming a joke because of a serious lack of ethics.

I think we all need to do more to promote HD and get people to come here.
 
Blue, I appreciate your discretion in keeping my identity private, but there is no need. After all, the thread was front and center viewed by many at WHT (until it was tossed, of course).

This has been a long drawn out saga since Jan 2005. It started in late 2004 with the fact that I posted in a thread once where I called Gen-T an idiot for saying he would throw/sacrifice a human being overboard to their death rather than a dog since he valued animals' lives more than humans (it was one of those "what if" threads). He then harbored resentment for a few months about it. Then in January, he started picking a fight with me via PM which led to email, and he hasn't stopped harrassing me since. In fact, he has been harrassing Simon (IHSL), Paul (the_pm), Eric (BigBison) and Bob (Aussie Bob) as well, all because they came to my defense. So they all ended up on the hit list. He has sent dozens and dozens of harrassing emails to everyone (we have them all archived including headers). Everything from physical threats to cultural slurs (eg. it's a pity Hitler missed a few of you), to sexually explicit messages.

The final straw came yesterday morning when I received 2 emails from Tim. I have nothing to hide, so here are copies of them (if you are offended by sexually explicit material, please don't read):

This was the last straw. You simply do not send an email to a father depicting in detail how you are raping his little girl. Especially if he is an Italian father.

So later yesterday, he sent me a few more emails repenting, and asked if I would want him to post a public apology at WHT to prove his sincerity. Since I am in the process of collecting all possible evidence to hand over to the Tech Crime Dept of my local Police Dept first thing Monday morning, I figured this would be more proof for me, another nail in his coffin. So I replied and said to go ahead and post the apology. But alas, he beat me to it, he already posted the apology moments earlier.

So I then posted in the thread and exposed him for the scumbag pervert that he is. Needless to say, people were shocked. Tim's PM and email got flooded with hate mail. He then emailed me angry that I sucker punched him, that I "double crossed" him. Heh, if he is upset about that, wait until he gets a knock on the door from local Police to charge him for uttering rape threats against a minor.

WHT certainly leaves much to be desired. I later posted a new thread slamming WHT for deleting Tim's thread. Why the hell would they delete a factual thread exposing a member for the scum that he is? As expected, my thread was deleted too.

Anyways, that's it in a nutshell.

I think we should setup an anonymous domain (nothing too obvious), buy some ad space in pingZine! to market the new "product" and after the publication goes out, redirect the domain to the whole story, and expose him, and WHT's unethical actions.

I apologize that you've had to be confronted with one of the worst kind of scum on the Internet, like you have in this situation. As a father of 4, I sympathize, and quite honestly take it very personally, as it could have been any of us in your position right now. I also give you props for handling it so tactfully. I'm not as calm when it comes to my family. They would have been putting Tim in a pine box, in the ground.

Believe me, as a father, that was my first thought. But we all know that would not have been the best solution for my family. Having me thrown in jail for taking someone out would not serve my family well. All I can say is he's lucky he's 2000 miles away. Had he been around the corner, the outcome would have been significantly different, as I would have reacted more impulsively.

Yikes, those messages go way beyond being unacceptable, Vito. Bob sent me a link to the original thread at WHT and I simply didn't know what to say - I was speechless. I think you are quite right going to the police over this and taking it as far as the law will allow you. Hopefully Tim can be prosecuted.

Coming from a former Community Leader at WHT, I think I can safely say that the entire community is behind you :)

That's just completely disgusting, and entirely unacceptable from anyone person, no matter what state of mind they are in. Hopefully with this evidence you have against him, that freak will be taught a lesson.

While I'm not speaking on behalf of the WHT Staff, but I'm pretty sure they're debating over it, and looking all the information that has been presented to them. Since this was done through email, and not directly through WHT it becomes a tricky issue. You have to consider; what will banning him from WHT accomplish? The means of communication are still there. If any kind of irrational attitude is out there, it needs to be directed at his ISP, not WHT or any particular administrator. WHT didn't provide him with any means of communication on the internet, his ISP however did. I'm sure whatever decision the WHT Administrators make will be one that is well thought out.
