Which Control Panel Do You Prefer?

I have used all of the control panels mentioned above and from a customer based preference CPanel wins hands down. We use FreeBSD on our servers and before I must admit it was a horrible pain to run FreeBSD with CPanel but now... Cpanel has done an excellent job as of lately to make it run very smoothly. Kudos to their great work and lets hope they keep it up! If we want to discuss the most stable control panel then I would definetly have to admit it is DirectAdmin hands down.
 
cPanel does have alot of bugs http://bugzilla.cpanel.net
Most of them are invalid and requests however, cPanel tends to take time to resolve issues that doesnt have a critical serverity on it, so I try and fix it as best as I can.

Or if want to tweak cPanel X/ WHM X then I modify it make an SSH file and put it in the /postupcp script file.


Plesk -- It's secure can be a right pain in the backside.
Ensim & H-Sphere never used.

Webmin, Direct Admin are 2 great cheap products as well which are very good.
 
cPanel is the best I've used. DirectAdmin seems like a decent, low-cost solution (though I've never used it). I never really liked Ensim or Plesk.
 
hey , i dont see directadmin on there

i used cpanel before , but when i first tested out DA ... i removed all cpanel and went full DA CP and never looked back

Definately cPanel. Been using it since the 5.x days and I have never stopped liking it. Has changed a lot since then and still continues to serve me well! Highly recommended.

Well I take back everything I said for CPanel with FreeBSD. I switched to DirectAdmin and it is much more stable, secure, and works perfectly. After comparing these two I have to say DirectAdmin is my prefered choice. No bugs, no downtime, upgrades easily :thumbsup:
 
We have used both Hosting Controller and Plesk but i really prefer Hosting Controller because it has an integrated billing system.
 
cPanel all the way....When I first got into hosting it was what I first used and expanded my knowledge on. I don't think I'd function properly if I was stuck using another control panel.
 
cPanel here man. I’m starting to get bored of the default template, hopefully they update it soon. But the alternatives just suck as of now, so yeah.
 
Cpanel is user friendly and has more features making it more functional. It is more pleasing to the eye and more customisable.
 
I guess after you use the same cp for many years, its easier to stick with it. cPanel is just what I'm used to and haven't really considered moving to another control panel. I know it has its problems, but as I said I'm just used to its configuration.
 
I prefer cPanel mainly because, well ive never used anything else. Ive tested demos of other Control Panels but cPanel was the first one i was exposed to and so now i probably wouldnt use anything else. Im stubborn like that :D
