Which Anti-virus programs do you use?

I used avast, they are really good a there software is so user friendly. But since being with BT for my home broadband I have started to use the BT Netguard. It is powered by mc afee and seems really good.

Bit Defender

I am using Bit Defender Total Security. Its great antivirus. it is providing protection against the latest viruses, spyware, phishing and identity-theft attacks. It includes firewall and network management tools, file encryption, online back-up, and automatic hourly updates. New performance optimization features help you keep your entire system safe without slowing it down.

I am very happy with it.:agree:

I've just recently switched to Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes. Dumped free AVG as it wasn't doing the job.

eset smart security. been using it for years and will never switch again.

I have tried kaspersky, norton, trendmicro, panda, avg, and lots of others. eset is the best imo.

I tried many Anti-virus, however, hardly any of them gives accurate results. I am using AVG at the moment. So far, it has not detected any virus though

On top of that, AVG seemed to slow down my laptop. All these updated, daily scans, search engine protection - all seemed to bring so little benefit and it rarely would discover something... so I just uninstalled it yesterday and now have the antivirus/antimalware protection only through PC Tools Spyware Doctor (paid edition). But it seems lighter, more efficient and protects me on the fly. When I had both installed, it was only the Spyware Doctor that did most of the work anyway.
