Which Anti-virus programs do you use?

We don't use anything at all. That's Linux for you. I would never use Norton/Symantec the detection rates are dreadful!

Gave up on Norton a while back. All of my systems at home and my laptop use AVG free. Using StopZilla and SpyDoctor for adware protection.

I have been very happy with the two free anti-virus software packages the I use. I have AVG Free and Adaware. I also have Windows Defender that came on my pc when I bought it a year and a half ago. So far, I have never gotten anything on my pc that cannot be taken care of by them. What do some of you use to protect your computers?

Be careful not to install to many, for instance if you have adaware on your PC and also install McAFFEE, it can kill your computer in certain situations. My advise is to choose one good one rather than several ok ones.

I use Avira AntiVir, it does the job. Though the best way to protect your computer is not to visit potentially malicious websites. This you have to judge using experience :P

I use Kaspersky Antivirus too! It is, so far, the best antivirus for me. Then next is Avira. :) Both actually rocks!

I now use norton 2010... have to say it is briliant... support is via 3 clicks of the help button (to be connected rdc via logmein to a person) and their use of a cloud network sumbission system to verify files and their sources and then not pester you with install permission is good.

performance wise they have solved all the previous issues that put myself and almost everyone else off.

I use verizon security suite. The anti-virus is Klapersky and it works very well. costs a couple of bucks a month but so far its worth it.

I heard NOD32 is also amazing. Lemme see it for myself so I could compare it with my current anti-virus.

I use Avast on all my windows computers. I can't remember the last time I got any malware. Like others have mentioned, there is a free version. :)

I really like Trend Micro Anti Virus, it's comprehensive but fast. Had it for 4 years and never had any infection, although many a virus, trojan and mal-ware have tried.
