What client system do you use?

We use WHMCS and it's been great. We use it for Design or Hosting clients. Aside from all the great things it does on the hosting end , it allows us to provide quotes for design work. If the client accepts the quote you can mark the quote accepted and it'll generate the invoice. The client can then log in to their account and see what design work they contracted, how much, date, etc.

We are using WHMCS. WHMCS is better than other billing systems. But in WHMCS having some security holes. But if you can manage your WHMCS properly you can prevent from security issues. You have to apply security patches.

ClientExec also not bad. But I do not have much experience with ClientExec.

We use WHMCS , have tried CE, but WHMCS is better ( feature wise) if you follow the security instruction in the WHMCS documentation you wont have issues.
Only current issue even with all the forum threads on version 5.1.2 is that WHMCS still insist that their is nothing wrong with version 5.1.2.

We use WHMCS. It's closed nature makes life a bit difficult sometimes, but they have a decent API and their support has been great.

WHMCS is just too risky. When problems are found and hey are notified you are usually met with arrogance or insults from them. I know at one time me and a few others had to raise bloody hell at another forum once because of the ability to keep an admin locked out of the system, that even a 12 year old can do.

I tell ya what I would like to see made, an extranet. I used such a software at touchsupport, it pulled in tickets and data from all your outsource support clients, server infos, auto logins, status and everything. It was awesome.

This is not true, yet they had a few issues with 5.1.2 which delayed some support tickets, but they have caught up now.

This is 100% false as issues are found they will issue a patch and place on their forum in the bugs section and sometimes you just ask and they will give the patch to you in a support ticket.

We have coded and using our own client and billing system, PHP and MySQL based.
We feel more secure this way and we can configure it as we want.

Currently using BoxBilling. It's pretty cheap and does exactly what I want it to do, I also like the look of this billing system too.
