Uptime monitoring

We currently use the PAID service from SiteUptime in addition to our Nagios cluster. There hasn't been much of a problem with SiteUptime & Nagios definately works like a charm and is a great software considering it's free.

Thanks for the update kzanna, missed this thread the first time around, has some very good information in it.

yeah but by registering you agree to link to uppanel from your website. I actually don't need any extra links on my site.

I highly recommend Hyperspin. When i first signed up with them about 6 months ago there service was very limited, but there monitoring was right on target.

Since that time they have added many new monitoring stations and added tons of new features to their service. Things like maintenace times, SMS alerts, enhanced public profile, and much more.

I have never had 1 false alarm in 6 months. You can't complain about that!!!

You can check their website for more details.
bello now owns IPCheck. For some reason, however, bello decided they would try and rip off Paessler's customers by changing their policies. Users who purchased IPCheck 5 now have to re-purchase it.

We found this out the hard way after finding many bugs in IPCheck 5. It turns out that if you want IPCheck's latest patch (still version 5) you have to re-purchase, at a higher price, with a lower support period. In effect, they are double-charging those customers loyal enough to have already paid for the IPCheck 5 service (version level upgrades ceased to be free @ version 4).

What they are doing does in fact break their agreements with current customers. On the flip side, the actual software is great. Their approach to customer relations, though, is another story. We have now purchased IPCheck three times, and barely even broke in to a second version :(
