I can get xoops installed but it is missing something. I might do nuke and a few others first then come back to xoops.

Linux is the way to go :)

Ok, I added 4images tonight. 4images is a image gallery program for personal / non-profit use only.

Any idea when you will have this releasable for people to include with their servers and aprox pricing?

About 1 - 2 more weeks and I think it will be complete.

BTW: just added OSCommerce and I am going to go back to that other forum. I can parse text based config files easily now so that won't be a issue anymore.

Price: Version 1 will be FREE

Version 2 will have a lot more options but will be $30 a copy. I am going to release version 1 as FREE to get this product out there and then offer a better program for a small fee.

My beta testers will get a free copy of version 2 also.
 
oh i thought you were going to release this under GNU license...did you not say that in an email you sent me?
Been telling quite a lot of people about the new free alternative to fantastico lol.
Interested to see the final version for v1 anyway :)
 
Sorry for absence but my internet went bust after the neighbors dog chewed a wire. I'm not joking. Dad had to buy a new one.

Gooogle, thanks for reporting that bug in YaBBSE. I will fix that today.

I think I am going to stop at 10 or 15 scripts for Version 1 and make a user registration and automate the initial install phase for Source Matrix. Some of the things in the registration will be completed in Version 2 along with stats and a admin interface.

One improvement you can make is that when you press a script that is already installed, instead of just giving an uninstall button you can also provide a link to the installed script. I sometimes find that useful.
 
That's a good idea. I plan to add a counter script, mailing list, Nuke, fix Xoops and a form generator. The mailing list and form generator will be programs I have already written with some minor changes.
