You are right about 2CO. They really have to get their business on the right track before all the customers move to other cheaper and better services. Speaking for myself, 2CO has been a really pain in the ass. They took my money and never give it back. On the other hand Paypal has it's share of problems too (many fraudulent acts have been commited lately on this service, so the safety part merely out of discussion). I chose ikobo because they have lower fees and cover 170 countries unlike paypal which covers a very small list of countries.
 
Since we're sharing opinions about 2checkout... I was also considering them at some point, I actually paid the $49 signup fee and then the problems started to appear... for some reason the account wasn't created, support wasn't answering and so on. Apparently I'm not the only one who's had problems with them; these people here seem to have problems as well. I lost $49 in the process, but I guess I should be happy I haven't lost more.
 
Yeah. Paypal is far better than 2co. Too bad they have a restricted coverage. Also, there are many people who don't have a bank account and decide on for a mobile solution.

It really depends on how you define the word "better."

We have had our problems with both, and just recently we've had a problem with 2CO's fraud investigation methods. They have allowed fraudulant orders to go through, with flying colors, going as far as sending us notice that the particular orders "Passed their fraud review" only to come back a few months later and nail us for those charges. Kind of makes you question what their fraud investigation process actually is, or does.

Now, at the same time, anyone and their brother can get a PayPal account, and start sending money, and PayPal has no prepurchase fraud checks at all. They wait until there is a problem before they investigate.

Jericho, it would be interesting to know, in some form of detail, what the problems actually were.

2CO does not seem to operate on the weekends, and thus may have delayed your account setup, etc.

We literally have never had account problems with them. The only problem we have ever had is mentioned above, and that is after 2 years of doing business with them. We never had a problem with them before, nor since.
