Looking for high bandwidth host

put a request in in the "Web Hosting Request" forum and see what offers you can get for your budget.
Hawk, this is very good advice. This way hosts can customize a plan to your needs and you will not end up paying for disk space you do not need. The money saved could buy you more bandwidth if you feel you would like that instead.
Also, good job on researching hosting companies before you go with them. This could save you alot of headache in the future.

I just might do that. Let me see if I can type up a comprehensive and intelligible request.

You can use this formula if it helps:

Space:
Bandwidth:
OS:
Control Panel:
Emails/databases/forwarders/etc:
IP shared/dedicated:
Any special features:
Price/budget:

If you are looking for a VPS/dedicated solution, you have to specify at least the minimal server requirements such that RAM, Processor, Space, # of IPs, bandwidth.

Best,

I just wanted to let all you fine folks that have offered so much help know that I've been in contact with the owner of my current hosting service for most of the morning and he's made it extremely difficult for me to think about moving.
We have the bandwidth situation at a very comfortable position now, as well as a couple other nice amenities thrown in.
Looks like my hunting is over for now.
Thank you all for all the advice, tips, and information. It's greatly appreciated.
I'm sure I'll be back to this forum in the future.
Admin/Mods-please feel free to lock this thread. :D

This is what usually happens when the company thinks it might lose your account. Any company wanting to retain your business will most likely renegotiate the deal at your advantage.

Please don't forget to come back and review your experience. Who is the host by the way?

Hawk, could you please tell me exactly how much you need and I could possibly help you find a host? I will search high and low to find you one! :D If it is a rather small amount of space with a high amount of bandwidth, you could always take a look at some post to hosts. Thanks!

Who is the host by the way?

I wasn't sure if I could mention them. It's Christian Web Host. A small, family owned company just in the next state over from me. :) Small enough that it's not the least bit unusual to find the owner manning the help desk.

CoolKid-After our discussion this morning I think I'm just going to stay with them. Thanks for the offer of help though.

Thanks to all!

if your host has a service you are happy with, and has offered a suitable package, then by all means stay. You can not go wrong that way.

I've been with the current service for almost 5 years.
That is a great track record, best of luck with the next 5.
