On a hexa-core 6-core VT-enabled server,
Then you can ideally create 10–15 KVM VPS. If each VPS is small (1 vCPU, 2GB RAM),
Then you can go up to 25–30 VPS max safely.

Its planned out to have minimum of 4 KVMs , but if we have 1 , 2 , 3, 4 core KVMs , that would exceed

hostnode cores . Atleast , 2 and 4 core KVMs should be ideal for enduser to use them smoothly.

Yes that makes sense with 2-4 core KVMs, keeping around 4 VPS instances will confirm smooth performance and proper resource allocation without oversubscription.

It depends on how big each VPS is and whether you oversell CPU.
  • Small VPS (1 vCPU, 2GB RAM): about 10-15 is a safe number on 6 cores. Going up to 25-30 is possible only if they are very light, and it is risky.
  • Bigger VPS (2-4 vCPU each): about 4 is enough. This avoids overselling and gives smooth speed.
RAM is usually the real limit, not CPU. Keep some RAM for the host server, and don’t promise more than you have.

Start with fewer VPS, watch the load, and add more only if the server stays comfortable.
