Is 24x7 Support Important to you?

We just recently acquired three more hosting providers, and have integrated sales, level 1 & 2 tech support into 24/7 LiveChat across the board because we believe that's what our clients desire. Timely (and competent) support is imperative if you want to minimize customer churn.
 
The 24*7*365 support is very very important.
In any emergency like site down etc. the Live Chat as well as ticket support is very useful.
 
Some hosts use automated monitoring.

Also 24x7 support doesn't necessarily mean there is someone sitting on a terminal 24x7 ready to solve your issue. It can mean that someone will be available at any time if needed - similar to being "on call". For example if a client is local and they need something solved a 2am in the morning then they can ring and get you out of bed and into the office to solve the problem. Some would call that 24x7 support because support is available at any time if needed.
 
Yeah, you are write. Many claim but very few follow it. The way things are advertise needs to be regulated on internet. Without regulations, people can easily get fooled.
