Is 24x7 Support Important to you?

Support is the Heart of the hosting business. When you think of the support it should be always 24x7x365, which makes sense to the users and builds trust in the clients.
 
Support is very important but I don't think 24*7 technical support
is that important compare to the reliability of the hosting server.
 
24x7 support is very important as it's availability gives many customers a sense of security, that someone would be available to help them with their hosting no matter what time or day it is.
 
24/7 support to me is one of the most important details of a host. When im working on my site at 3 in the morning, and im having a issue. I use the live chat feature, within 15 minutes I usually have enough information to troubleshoot my issue. I guess it all depends though on the users skill level and need for support. Im just a average person so i need help
 
Yes ..supporte is must. cause of you can get trouble at any time. nothing is best in this world, so if a hosting provider have 24/7 support it really help out in problem. so i think everybody need to make sure when slecting hosting company it must have support system.

While opting for a web hosting provider its necessary that the web hosts support staff has a friendly attitude and is dedicated enough to address the issues with a minimum waste of time.
 
24/7 support is very important to web hosting providers and custmoers.If customers have any questions, they can submit them to certain department for resolving via tickes,email,live chat or phone.In this case,these problems can be resolved in good time,the customer will satisfy the web hosting provides.
 
Clearly impossible to offer 24/7 support unless you have different people taking different shifts. I understand a datacenter offering 24/7 support, but for a web host its kind of hard to expect that kind of support when most of the people are only paying a few bucks a month.

Dedicated server is a yes on the 24/7 support, maybe on VPS.
 
In my opinion, as long as the staff are notified of any incoming requests or inquiries in real-time then it can be considered 24/7.
 
24/7 Support is probably what we would consider the most important offering we can provide. I personally think that if a customer is trusting us enough to manage their sites and ata then we should be available to help them 24/7.

We currently work our support shifts as 3 lots of 8 hours per day. The early morning shift is only one tech, but others are on call if needed - don't think this has ever happened though.
 
24x7 support always attracts customers towards a hosting company as they can be rest assured that somebody is always available to get in touch if they face any problem, however, 24x7 support is not only the factor which is necessary. The support offered should be good quality support so that issues can be solved asap as customers like to get the problems solved asap so that there websites are always online and they can earn good amount of money through it which directly affects the sales of the hosting company ;)
 
If there's going to be this much trouble whats the use of hosting there? Its best if we don't use support often. That gives an idea about the reliability of that hosting provider. Anyway 24/7 support should be there. Its really important for clients.

24/7 live chat doesn't mean that there will be problems for 24/7 in that hosting. Its a good service that is provided by the host for all customers and they can use it for making inquires, solving problems, etc., from any part of the world irrespective of the time. You should be aware of the fact that, for a company which is handling business in a global basis, has to provide support 24/7, irrespective of the time zone where the host is located.
 
Here you have to understand the real meaning of 24x7 support. Support is essential when there is a issue. This simplifies that support should be competitive, reliable & good so that you can get exact resolution of your issue.
