Internet Explorer Vs Firefox

I'm personally an IE guy, always have been, and always will be. Typically, I'll test any website that we build in FF though, because FF doesn't recognize a lot of common things, and yes, I'm talking about following strict standards...FF still doesn't recognize some of it. Thus when testing in FF, I end up having to find workarounds.

Everytime I use firefox, I end up switching to IE 7 again because some site just doesnt open right using FireFox (many scripts are programmed by IE formats)...can't do much in that case...so end up back to IE....anyhow IE has tabs and seems pretty decent now....But yeah firefox just feels a bit more "Nice" to me.

It would have to be FireFox for me. I prefer it for designing and doing general tasks. I will however use IE7 should the need rise - especially to see what a design looks like in IE.

Both are good browsers and IE really has moved up the ladder and its got more security features.

I think Firefox is good.
that it is way better.:agree:it's faster and safer!!! built in spam blocker, virus protection, automatically deletes cookies and crap files .:smash::smash:

I use Mozilla Firefox. In my opinion, firefox is the best web browser. It is very user friendly. This web browser is faster, more secure, and fully customizable to online life. Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and a search system that uses Google. Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and many other Unix-like operating systems.

Firefox forever. Very good to surf and anything else you can do in Internet.

The majority of Microsoft software make stress , IMHO.

I definitely had to vote for Firefox and only use IE if I absolutely have to (MS Updates, Work, etc.). I think Firefox is a bit easier to use and I like the tabbed browsing better in Firefox than IE. To me it is easier to find options/preferences and edit them as well in Firefox.

Use what you need to in order to get the job done. People whine at me all the time b/c most times I will answer that I use IE for business things, personal use I have no reason to not use FF but just whatever works right? Really not that hard to debate over. I did beta testing when FF first came out long long ago, and I was one of the first jumping on the FF, but when something I need to get a job done is not coded for anything other than IE I'm going to use it, why b/c I have work to do.
