Well if your on a budget you will want to add in features most hosts don't. Alot of webhosting companies block port 25. Unblocking that should help with sales.

what has unblocking ports got to do with what is offered in a basic hosting package.

I charge $1/mo or $10/yr for my most basic web hosting package that can host just 1 Domain with 5 GB SSD Space, I think its a fair price and a good introductory price for new customers.

They can upgrade to higher and better plans if they see fit
