Number of clients is irrelevant to profit and loss.
You could have 5000 clients and be losing money or you could have 20 clients and be making good money.
Depends on your business plan.

I am sorry, but I totally disagree. The amount of profit you make would somewhat be proportional to the number of clients you have. We are currently serving over 1500+ customers. Majority of them are from India and I can tell you through our experience that your income will grow with your customers. After all your number of customers will determine the number of renewals you will have per month. Right?

Not the best question to ask a hosting provider. Do not concentrate on getting a certain amount of clients but concentrate on bringing a quality service for your clients which in return will bring you more clients with you even noticing that.

If calculated my clients' clients, all in all, we host 75+ accounts.
if talking about mine alone, then 20+ active clients. 30+ signups, inactive
