Google Adwords or Bing for Advertising?

Hi All,

I would like to know which is the best one among these 2 - Adwords /Bing for paid ads for web hosting.

Actually its quite simple, Google adwords takes the chance here because google adwords provides world class advertisements environment as compare to any other ad agencies. Google Adwords provides flexibility in ads and prices of the bids. we have been using google adwords since last 2 years and never face any issue at all. I would definitely suggest you to go with google adwords over bing.

It all depends on your target market and the type of clients you're wanting to attract. Google Adwords, Bing and even Facebook and LinkedIn all have a place at the table when it comes to marketing.

What we've found with much of the clients we work with is that lesser technology type clients deal more with Bing than with Google. That said, many corporations, schools and medical facilities REQUIRE Internet Explorer by users, and many of the staff utilize Bing in those cases too.

If you're targeting Wix and SquareSpace type users that are looking for DIY and drag and drop, then Bing is a great place for clients. If you're looking to target programmers and developers, then Google is your friend.

If you're looking to target startups, DIY'ers trying to launch a business etc - Facebook can be a winfall.

Do the research. Find your target and who it is that you're really looking for, and at what price point. Then test, repeat, test, then launch.

would recommend google adwords. Simply because you would get alot more traffic from google being the biggest search engine compared to others.

I recommend using Google Adwords because its much easier to manage your advertisements and has a higher search volume, but it also depends on the keywords and the advertising budget.

If you are just starting with a small budget, you can invest it on others things such as forum advertising which will grow your customer base.

Google hands down. But you can't ignore Bing advertising if you can afford it too.

I (personally) have ran some sizable campaigns in the past and found that whilst you have no issues spending money on Google. Spending money =people who see your ad. In certain countries Bing takes up a really low share of the search engine pie. This meant that Bing ads sometimes don't even trigger due to not finding an audience. I found this particular true with paid advertising in Germany.

It was no issue getting impressions on Google in Germany, but Bing barely triggered as it barely found the same audience.

Adwords is best in all areas.

In fact, in some countries, the adoption of Bing is much lower to the point that, even if you threw money at it, it'll struggle to spend anything due to the low audience figures. This is from first hand experience.

Have to admit though, Adwords is extremely competitive, especially in areas of hosting. But you have to make sure you're selective over where you compete and that's determined by the flexibility of targeting options and methods you get in Adwords.

We're currently managing an online campaign for a client, with a monthly spend of $5k on Bing and their network. They're clearing $45k in net profit directly from those clicks.

Choosing the right network depends entirely on your targeted customers. We found Bing to be more effective for this particular client.

Now a day's everyone use Google search engine for any need. So if you go with Google Adword then you get better benefit as compare to bing.

I would recommend using the Google Adwords. If you can manage it by your own, go ahead with the classic version, as it has advanced features to tweak your advertisement. However, if you find difficulties in using Adwords classic, you could try their Adwords Express platform.

Google has more reach when compared to Bing.I vote for Adwords!
