Hi.. it is a happy client's gesture of appreciation, do accept it & send in a Thank you note, maybe with some flowers or chocolates. It shows that the client wants to a lasting relation with the company & so pls reciprocate.
This is true, but normally it is a profession where gifts could be seen as trying to buy preferential treatment. Gifts are not ok where they could be a bribe, but as a simple thank you after the fact-that is a different matter.
I have received lots of gifts and appreciations from all of my clients on regular basis all over the world and i too send them in return to tell them they are inseparable part of my life.
