Do you provide trial VPS?

We do not provide a trial for our vps and never will. Its too dangerous and to risky. We do however offer a 7 day back money back guarantee.

Money back instead of free trial

because of problems with kids we changed the free test period to a 100% monay back guarantee.

MOD NOTE: Post edited.

We don't provide free trials but do offer different types of promotions such as 2 months free service, $10 off, software discounts etc.

As far as I know most VPS providers would not go for a trial vps since as a result many other clients will abuse this and in turn just leave the company burning resources. Alot offers a reasonable price though plus a money back guarantee if the server does not perform what is expected on it. :)

I think that someone who needs web hosting should be serious enough in his intentions and not be interested in trial periods. As some of you say almost every serious company give you number of days refund. For that time you can see if the service fits your needs right.

It might not be about good or bad intentions though. One might just be rather hesitant about the company and would like a genuine test before parting with any money.

Sadly the users who do decide to abuse networks and have no intend on renewing ruin it for others as these days most providers won't consider a free trial (and opt for the money back guarantee instead).

We tried a free trial for our VPS products, the conversation rate on those? 0%. Not a single trial converted over. The people who sign up for trials have no intention of ever paying, they want the free vps for a bit.

We switch to a no questions asked refund policy and that has worked much better for us.

As for as my knowledge is concern very VPS trial not good for business
My suggestion is avoid this

I don't think providing a trail VPS would do good for you business.
It will attract spammers who will abuse your systems.
But, you could offer a 7-day money back guarantee instead ;)

Trial accounts in my experience do not gain you valuable customers with a retention rate that is suitable for growth. Best to stay away from offering such services as it can lead to huge problems in the future you want to build a good reputation not destroy it as offering such a service will do in the long run.

As previously stated, we don't provide trial VPSs for new customers, but we've recently offered this on a case by case basis for some of our longer term customers.
Some have decided it's better for them and others have decided they preferred to stay on the shared platform with all of the bells and whistles.

The money back guarantee is the best method as it "filters" the good from the bad.

we are a new hosting company in the market, that is why, we offer trial period so that our potential customers can test our vps and then decided.

We also don’t offer free trial VPS, as it’s very likely that it will bring us many customers that have signed up only for the free trial and therefore abuse may follow. That’s why we offer affordable and reliable hosting plans with 30 day money-back guarantee, so our customers can try our services and if they like them they may decide that they want to continue their current plan and purchase an annual package, let’s say.

Does anybody provide trial VPS ?

offering trial usually attract the ''wrong'' kind of customers, We have tested it on our skin that you then have to deal with spam abuse and having to spend money to remove the blacklisted IP from the RBL.

I hear lately trial VPS are used to make DDoS too so yea you get what i mean.
