# New pages can be easily added and modified easily
# With Editor support, you can easily add content, images and perform text formatting
# Built-in support for multiple languages
# Allow multiple authors of the site to upload their content easily
# Multiple user authentications in a Joomla powered website.
# Good template support
# Add additional functionality with the use of different extensions.
# Improved extensibility and better HTML output
# Supports LAMP technology
# Highly Search Engine Friendly
# Self updation

Open source applications are very helpful and great only if you totally know how to operate them and are aware of their issues.

I don't love Joomla.
I do love OCPortal though.

I have tested so many cms scripts. OCPortal is by far the best I've used for ease of use.
They even offer a direct to server install. Great support forum.
Wordpress is great for a blog but even with all of the mods and themes, for a cms OCPortal is the best I've come across in quite a while.

I've heard a lot about Joomla exploits and spam (this was in the earlier days), so I'd have to give it a solid "no".

But that's not to say that if they will improve (or if they have), I'd gladly give them another shot.

joomla is great

joomla i great but it come with a couple of issues if you are not 100% shore what you are doing.

To be honest, i have used Joomla a couple of times, and its ok, not fantastic but ok. I am worried about the lack of updates though.
Im new to Drupal but getting to like it more and more.
Wordpress i think is a great CMS that has advanced a whole lot since the beginning!

Joomla is great for the customers but can be a pain in the a** for hosting providers. One improperly configured install on a shared server can mess it up completely.

I told you before. You cant find as many extension as joomla has.. Joomla is the best opensource cms.. Try it you will get your answer..

Not really.. I am reluctant use Joomla and the most funny thing is I really don't know the reason. But, Joomla is really powerful you can mod it according to your needs.
