Changes in the TOS

The whole point here being that you have to know about those terms if you are to be able to follow them. So like I said in my previous post, I can see the possibility of someone deliberately setting up to scam customers out of money by changing the TOS in such a way that the customers are breaking terms, and not telling them thus leaving them in violation.

That is a potential scam but how long could it actually last?
What terms in a TOS could be changed so drastically that it would affect a large number of people?

Even if a large number were affected the end result would almost certainly be that the host would go out of business.

I agree Blue and I would really hope that they didn't last long. But how long does any scam last? People just up and move to another host with another domain and start again.

I'm a cycnic, born and bred.

That would have to be listed in the TOS. Some hosts state that it is the clients responsibility to frequently check the TOS for changes.
