Changes in the TOS

The whole point here being that you have to know about those terms if you are to be able to follow them. So like I said in my previous post, I can see the possibility of someone deliberately setting up to scam customers out of money by changing the TOS in such a way that the customers are breaking terms, and not telling them thus leaving them in violation.

That is a potential scam but how long could it actually last?
What terms in a TOS could be changed so drastically that it would affect a large number of people?

Even if a large number were affected the end result would almost certainly be that the host would go out of business.
 
I agree Blue and I would really hope that they didn't last long. But how long does any scam last? People just up and move to another host with another domain and start again.

That would have to be listed in the TOS. Some hosts state that it is the clients responsibility to frequently check the TOS for changes.
