Virtuozzo debuts V/Partner as customers rethink virtualization costs

Virtuozzo has launched V/Partner, an expanded global partner program for distributors, resellers, service providers and technology partners. The infrastructure software provider built the program on top of its existing channel framework, adding commercial incentives, training, marketing resources and support to help partners grow their businesses around Virtuozzo’s platform.

The timing lines up with a broader shift happening across the industry. As rising infrastructure costs push customers to reevaluate their virtualization strategies, many are also asking for more control over where their workloads actually run. For channel partners, those reviews open a door, since they create demand for alternative infrastructure platforms with different cost structures and deployment models.

V/Partner recognizes several kinds of partner contribution, whether that means building services, reaching new customers or offering implementation expertise. As partners develop their capabilities, they unlock additional benefits and tiered tracks tailored to distributors, resellers, service providers and technology partners. Virtuozzo currently works with more than 1,000 partners worldwide, and its technology already supports over 100,000 companies.

Kurt Daniel, chief executive officer at Virtuozzo, said partners sit at the center of how customers evaluate, adopt and operate new infrastructure. According to Daniel, Virtuozzo aims to give partners an efficient alternative they can resell, integrate or build differentiated AI and cloud services on top of, while V/Partner backs that opportunity with stronger economics and joint investment as relationships grow.

Commercial benefits under the program include discounts, rebates, referral fees and performance incentives, with eligibility varying by partner type and tier. Meanwhile, V/Partner Academy offers training and certification alongside demo licenses and direct access to Virtuozzo’s presales and technical support teams. Partners who reach qualifying levels also gain visibility through joint marketing, market development funds and early access to product roadmap planning.

Underneath all of this sits a platform that combines compute, storage, networking, orchestration, management, automation and protection in one system. Because multitenancy is built in, service providers can serve multiple customers without needing a separate product or license, which simplifies how partners structure their offerings.

Roy Wttewaall, senior director of global partnerships at Virtuozzo, said partners who build value and drive customer success should see real commercial return for that work. V/Partner is now available globally, and distributors, resellers and service providers can apply directly through Virtuozzo’s website.
