AWS Agent Plugins bring structured AI deployment to cloud

AWS has introduced open-source Agent Plugins that enable AI coding agents to design and deploy applications through structured AWS workflows. The initial “deploy-on-aws” plugin analyzes codebases, recommends services, estimates costs, generates infrastructure-as-code, and executes deployment using real-time data. By embedding AWS best practices into reusable agent capabilities, the approach aims to standardize cloud architecture decisions while keeping developers in control.
