Meta plans to invest $600 billion in U.S. digital infrastructure by 2028, marking one of the largest spending pledges in tech history. The company said the funds will fuel AI data center construction and workforce expansion as part of its push toward “superintelligence for everyone.” Analysts, however, question how Meta will finance the massive outlay, which far exceeds its annual revenue and ongoing projects like the $27 billion Hyperion site in Louisiana.
