Tencent Cloud introduces Super App solution to transform digital ecosystems

At MWC Barcelona 2025, Tencent Cloud launched Super App as a Service (TCSAS) to help companies build strong digital ecosystems. This service aims to make it easier for businesses to grow their online presence, reach more people, and boost earnings. As super apps become more important, this platform helps businesses use them effectively.

Experts predict that by 2027, over half the world’s population will use several super apps daily. For brands wanting to build customer loyalty, offer personalized experiences, and provide multiple services, these platforms are becoming essential. Tencent Cloud plans to use its insights from WeChat, which has 1.3 billion users monthly, to support the development and growth of super apps with TCSAS.

TCSAS is a tool that lets companies easily add various services through small, ready-to-use apps. This online platform acts like a marketplace that keeps people interested for a long time. It includes live streaming, where you can watch videos in real time, and instant chat, allowing quick message exchanges. There’s also interactive e-commerce, which lets you buy and sell products easily.

By bringing all these key features together in one place, businesses can operate more efficiently. This setup helps them to offer a smooth and enjoyable experience for their customers.

The telephone industry is among the first to use this approach. Orange Middle East and Africa (OMEA) introduced a new service called “Max It” in partnership with TCSAS. This innovative service combines financial services, online shopping, and telecommunications, creating a digital ecosystem that makes life easier. “Max It” is designed to reach 45 million people this year.

In addition to telecom, sectors like banking, gaming, and government are adopting TCSAS. Companies such as Telkomsel in Indonesia, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), and the Middle Eastern game developer PlaysOut have started using the platform to enhance their digital offerings.

As more industries look to streamline their operations and improve user experiences, Tencent Cloud is positioning itself as a leader in the new wave of digital transformation.

Poshu Yeung, Senior Vice President of Tencent Cloud, has emphasized the company’s commitment to transforming digital engagement. He noted that TCSAS enables businesses to easily integrate critical services, improving user interaction and supporting long-term growth.

As businesses globally switch to digital methods, super apps are becoming common because they offer easy access to multiple services. At this important moment, Tencent Cloud’s TCSAS provides essential tools that help companies stay competitive in the quickly evolving digital world.
