IPv6 taking over IPv4

More providers of virtual data center services are implementing native IPv6 technology. Its biggest selling point – it is capable of providing many more addresses than the “old” IPv4. IPv4 uses 32-bit addresses while IPv6 uses 128-bit, giving it vastly more routing and address allocation flexibility.
