In a deal that will see Parallels reach nearly eight million additional customers, many of that number representing small businesses, GoDaddy will begin offering their hosting clients Parallels’ Small Business Panel software. Small Business Panel 10.1 is a do-it-yourself control panel aimed at helping small businesses increase productivity through tools aimed at project collaboration, file sharing and general business management. With the ability to add-on services such as SpamAssassin, ColdFusion and Helpdesk to the basic Small Business Panel package, the move represents a new quality product for GoDaddy customers as well as a huge increase of the reach of Parallels. Useful CMS software such as WordPress is also available as an add-on, leaving small businesses with a seemingly endless array of options and abilities.
Joining popular providers like Arsys, Cordero, Host Europe, Layershift, Network Group Europe, ServInt, Softcom, Softlayer and The Planet, GoDaddy has indicated real excitement in offering Small Business Panel to their customer, calling software made by Parallels the perfect fit for small businesses who don’t need the full services of an IT administrator with its easy-to-use and intuitive interface and continued commitment to further development.
