CloudFest Americas and NamesCon have named Angelika Dorvel, a public policy manager at Google, as a featured speaker for their joint event on November 11 and 12, 2026, in Miami. She will take part in a panel called “The Future of Search and Discoverability,” which looks at how people find businesses online as AI increasingly answers their questions for them.
Dorvel works as Google’s government affairs and public policy manager for payments in the United States. For the past two and a half years, she has focused on future forms of payments, global payments regulation and product development. More recently, however, her attention has turned to agentic commerce, where software agents help complete purchases on a user’s behalf.
Several industry figures will share the stage with her. Jeremy Chrysler, vice president of product strategy at Yahoo Search, will join Anand Vora, vice president and head of domains at Namecheap. In addition, Michael Feeley, chief operating officer at Trillion.com, and Daniel Wette, chief executive of rankingCoach, complete the lineup. Together, they cover search, domain registration and small business marketing, so the discussion should have real practical range.
Organizers have outlined three themes for the session. First, they plan to examine how discovery is changing, including the effect of AI-generated answers, conversational agents and autonomous commerce on how people find and buy from brands. Next, the panel will explore where opportunities sit, such as how internet businesses can adapt, handle emerging public policies and use new commerce standards as search evolves.
The third theme speaks directly to the domain industry. Finally, panelists will ask what happens to domain names, website traffic and online visibility if search moves beyond its traditional format. That question matters because a shift away from ranked links could change how much a web address contributes to being found. Consequently, registrars, hosts and brand owners all have reasons to follow the conversation.
For attendees, the session pairs a policy perspective with views from companies that sell search, domains and marketing tools every day. Meanwhile, registration for the event is open at https://cloudfest.com/americas/tickets/.
