Boost Run signs $525.6M AI cloud deal with sovereign AI firm

Boost Run just signed a five-year AI cloud services agreement worth $525.6 million with an unnamed sovereign AI company, and the deal pushes the company’s total contracted revenue past $2.6 billion. That figure matters more than it might look at first glance, since it represents actual signed commitments with upfront payments, not projected demand or pipeline conversations still working their way toward paper.

The deal itself centers on Nvidia’s GB300 NVL72 GPUs, paired with network storage and CPU node services, with the first infrastructure expected to come online in early Q2 2027. Boost Run operates as an Nvidia Preferred Cloud Partner, building its infrastructure to Nvidia’s own reference architecture standards, which effectively functions as a quality bar for companies wanting to run serious AI workloads without building and tuning everything from scratch themselves.

What’s notable here isn’t just the dollar figure. It’s the customer type. “Sovereign AI” refers to national or government-backed efforts to build independent AI infrastructure rather than relying entirely on foreign cloud providers, a trend that’s been accelerating globally as countries grow wary of depending on infrastructure they don’t control. Boost Run landing a five-year contract in that specific category signals the company is competing for exactly the kind of large, strategically significant AI infrastructure deals that have mostly gone to a handful of established players so far.

Founder and CEO Andrew Karos framed the deal as proof the company can efficiently convert its financing into actual contracted revenue, pointing to the GB300 delivery as evidence of both customer diversification and the strength of Boost Run’s GPU fleet. That diversification argument matters for a company this size. A concentrated customer base carrying all the revenue risk is a different, much shakier story than a growing roster of large, varied contracts.

Boost Run holds SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications at the operator level, and the company says it’s actively working to convert more of its existing sales pipeline into signed contracts as demand for AI compute keeps expanding. Whether Boost Run can keep landing deals at this scale, rather than this becoming an outlier win in an otherwise quieter pipeline, is really the question that determines whether $2.6 billion in contracted revenue becomes a trend or a headline.
