Anyone who’s run a hosting business knows the grind: nameserver updates, chasing late invoices, sending the same billing reminder for the third time. NairaHost Cloud Services just released four WHMCS addons meant to take some of that off a provider’s plate.
The lineup: Nameserver Auto-Sync, Top Announcement Bar, SMS Notifications, and Invoice Recovery. Each one solves a specific annoyance rather than trying to do everything at once, which honestly makes them easier to actually use.
Take Nameserver Auto-Sync. Anyone who’s provisioned hosting manually knows the drill, new order goes out, nameservers don’t match the assigned server, and within a day there’s a support ticket from a confused client wondering why their site won’t load. This addon keeps nameservers synced to the right server automatically, so that particular fire drill mostly goes away.
The Top Announcement Bar is simpler: it puts maintenance notices and service updates right inside the WHMCS client area instead of leaving everything to email, which plenty of customers don’t bother opening anyway. SMS Notifications picks up where that leaves off, sending texts for billing reminders and account changes to the customers who’d rather glance at a phone than dig through an inbox.
Then there’s Invoice Recovery, probably the least exciting name on the list but arguably the most useful. It builds out follow-up sequences for overdue invoices automatically, so providers aren’t manually tracking who owes what in a spreadsheet somewhere. Anyone who’s chased down a client for payment three separate times knows why that matters.
A NairaHost spokesperson described the release as a push to give hosting companies the tools to handle repetitive tasks on their own, freeing up staff to focus on work that actually needs them. Nothing about these addons is groundbreaking on its own, but stacked together, they chip away at the kind of busywork that eats into a support team’s day.
One thing worth flagging before anyone installs: all four addons need PHP 8.2 and ionCube Loader to run. NairaHost is telling customers to check PHP compatibility on their WHMCS setup first, since skipping that step tends to cause problems later.
The addons are available now through NairaHost’s client portal, joining a hosting automation toolkit the company has been quietly expanding alongside its domain and cloud hosting offerings.
