Ah I see well it's your choice so do what you feel is best for you and your company mate :) What I will say it looks like they reverted what OnApp was planning with SolusVM 2, it was a marketplace to sell space on the dedicated server, so you could host vps in certain locations outside your server.

SolusVM 2 is better than 1, however Virtfusion is 1000% better and owned by Phill who developed SolusVM before he sold his baby to OnApp who took it to the cleaners.

Yeah it depends on the terms and conditions you (the client) signed up to, personally myself I'd refund them because then it prevents a "chargeback" which you get charged as a supplier and also it can effect your business credit rating, however as a web host you have to protect your online...

I think both is the best way, take a backup regularly and keep it safe on an external drive and pay for the host to backup the server or shared hosting files daily.

I moved my business's in the past from WHMCS in 2013 to Blesta and haven't looked back, I still use Blesta to this day. I've used it for Shared / reseller hosting, selling licenses and selling my own software licenses.

We use our billing system Blesta for our invoices and they generate invoices when they're due with the cron job.

I used to be a Xenforo customer and fan however their updates seem to take forever, they're only on 2.2... 13 years and only the second version and second minor version. I do have a license for IPB and that's my favourite lately.
