wordpress installation services

I say $15-$20 but it all depends on the client. If it's a business level service, around $20 but if it's personal website around $10. Maybe offer free installation with custom wordpress theme.

Like other stated most web hosts offer auto installers these days, so don't really see a need to hire someone to install wordpress.

Installing wordpress is not a tought job and it is a very very simple process. This process takes less than five minutes to complete and 80% of the hosting provider installing it for free.

Hello senior member...

Do you know how much client should pay for regular wordpress installation?

Thanks for your input!

Easy installation if you have a cpanel host one click install but if you must hire someone, a rate of $5. bucks would cover their time

A wordpress [manual] installation is very straightforward - I am sure if the OP gives it a shot, he will be able to complete it without any trouble

Most of this softwares can be installed very easy. Why should you charge them? Just help the customer, be friendly.

There are thousands of scripts out there.
Should the host install every script for free?

It's one thing to be friendly it's another to use up resources on free installations that could be used for support issues.

Third party installations are not support issues.

It's nice to offer it but if you have thousands of clients it's just not practical outside of an automated script.

This is true, the host should not be required to install third-part scripts upon request. However, there are many hosts that would have no problem installing popular scripts like wordpress for you free of charge. It never hurts to ask ;)

I agree with you Blue. No Host has to install anything 3rd party unless they specify that they will. Most though will be happy to help people out now and again. They will most likely get fed up if people persistently ask for support for 3rd party applications.

Installation of wordpress will depend on the typw of hosting you are using. If you have cpanel --> Fantastico then wordpress installation is only of 1 click.
