Windows Media Player

I lost my Linkin Park CD, the new one, the one I've been longing for. Anyway, I was fortunate enough to have copied its contents to my HD through Windows Media Player prior to it. Is the windows media format readable by standard CD players?

sorry, but I dont *think* so.

WMA is evil as it protects data by default and they are working at "pushing" it at the consumer to kill off mp3 and P2P (napster and co).

Its also closed source which means us programmers have to think of creative ways to integrate encoders into our media players
