Why Great Customer Support Is Important

If a prospect client cant get a hold of them now.. i guess he/she should stay away from it as far as possible.
most will and then mention the lack of pre sales service on WHT etc. which as i stated is just as damaging as if you give your current clients bad service
 
I agree with you, gotlivechat. It's important for a company to have an interactive support group. Not receiving any reply from them in 2 days would already drive me mad and I would think that the company's a fake.
 
2 day's reply are pretty out of style now, you need instant replies from your hosting provider and interactive support that can be integrated with your smart phones and receive text messages as soon as a trouble ticket is replied

not really instant replies as some hosts cant do this, but a reply within the first hour of submitting a ticket, but interactive support mostly though live chat as not everyone has smart phones
 
Customer service to any customer is important, its why we are here. I get tired of seeing hosts run around "oh I have money" and "look at how successful we are". Without your clients you would be nothing, or you would just be some other random host that takes money and cares for no one. If you are not taking care of your customers (both existing, new and those almost new customers) you are failing at being a successful business person. From the CEO down to tech support, it all rolls into one that in the end (if you are doing it right) all of your customers love you & what you do for them. Customer support is very important.
Hosts need their customers to keep buying products from them if they want to grow in size and revenue.
It doesn't matter how many new customers you get, if you existing customers start leaving.
Even is you are OK with your current host, unless you trust that they are there to help you when things go wrong, you might be likely to look elsewhere for that next big project.

On the other hand you cannot spend hours helping people with $2 accounts for hours each month. As you will soon be out of business.
