Purpose of site:
Provide the code to embed videos into myspace, blogs, or a personal website. The site will act as a "middleman" between the user's page and the location of the file. Thus, we will not be hosting video files themselves. This script must be easy to use and the site must be fully automated (to an extent) when not attended to on a daily basis. The admin panel will have to do the following:
*Add Video
I would like this data be uploaded using a .csv file to speed up the data entry process. Info required:
-Title
-Description
-File location (using an .asx file)
-Amazon affiliate link (for music)
-Video Type (Media Player, Real, Quicktime...)
*Add link
-Add a link to any site on the net
*Stat Tracking
-Track movie views
-Ad views
Process:
-Create an .asx file from the file location given.
-Enter video into the category and list alphabetically.
-Insert all information into a template that will stream the video using an embedded media player. Also, provide the html code, with a link back to the site. The html code will be displayed in a selectable text box, which can be copied easily, by the visitor.
Some of the features desired:
-Ability to locate and delete/change items easily
-Integrated search function
-Top 100 list, based on movie views
-SEO Friendly
-Request a Video function
-Report broken link function
-Bookmark site
-Recommend us
-Video of the day
-Random video listing
-Contact form
